    A cellulose nanowhisker (CNW) with good aqueous dispersibility was dispersed in waterborne polyol dispersion and waterborne epoxy resin dispersion to prepare a polymer nanocomposite. The effect of CNw on rheological behavior of the waterbome resin dispersion was characterized by rotary rheometer The result showed that the viscosity of the composite system increased with the increase of CNW dosage. The laser particle size analyzer was used to record the particle size distribution of the composite system, indicating that the addition of the CNW could enable a new particle peak in the particle size distribution curve, and the area of the new peak varied directly with the amount of CNw. The atomic force microscope analysis showed that CNW could be dispersed in the waterborne resin dispersions evenly and disorderly.The tensile test showed that Yong's modulus and tensile strength of the nanocomposite were reinforced by the addition of CNW. However, the elongation at break of the nanocomposite films decreased with the increase of CNw dosage. Meanwhile, the contact angle analysis showed that the addition of CNW could improve the hydrophobic property of the nanocomposite film.

    An acrylate modified silicone levelling agent was synthesized through the hydrosilylation reaction. The synthesis condition of acrylate modified silicone was studied.The structure of the product was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and 1-NMR. Meanwhile, the surface performance of different acrylate modified silicone was discussed. The result showed that the appropriate reaction conditions were as follows: the reac-tion time was 7 h, the reaction temperature was 100 C, the amount of catalyst was 20 ug/g, the ratio of reactants [n( Si-H):n(C=C) was 1: 1. 2. Under these conditions, the conversion of Si-H in silicone oil was 92. 50% The self-prepared levelling agent could effectively reduce the surface tension of acrylic varnish and allowed its film to show excellent levelling performance such as DOl, gloss and smooth degree.

    In order to prepare epoxy coatings with high performance a conductive polyani-line was chosen as anticorrosive filler and coatings formulations were optimized via orthogonal experiment. Dynamic potential polarization curves and electrochemical impedance techniques were adopted to discuss the effects of immersion temperature, immersion time and carbon diox-depressure, etc. on the electrochemical properties of the film. Experimental results showed that the optimized formulation of epoxy coatings comprised epoxy coatings 36. 90wt %, polyan-iline 0. 37wt %, polyamide 29. 52wt %, and other fillers 33.21wt%. The cured film showed the adhesion 1 grade, hardness 6H and impact resistance 41 cm. With the increase of immer-sion time, the corrosion rate of the film firstly increased and then decreased. In addition,the immersion temperature rising from 35℃ to 80 ℃ could result in a faster corrosion rate. At the presence of 1 g/L sodium sulfide and carbon dioxide with 7 Mpa, the sulfide corosion on sur-face of the coated sample occurred primarily.

    A waterborne epoxy resin was prepared by E-44 epoxy modified with methacrylic acid, which was further modified with self-made siloxane oligomers via physical blending process. The structure of epoxy resin was characterized by FT-IR. The properties of the cured film derived from the coatings based on the modified epoxy resin were investigated.The glass transition temperature and the thermal decomposition temperature of the cured film were also investigated by DSC and TGA respectively. The results showed that siloxane oligomers had little effect on the adhesion water absorption, and chemical resistance of the modified epoxy, and enable the pencil hardness to increase from 3H to 4H. In addition,the increase of siloxane oligomer content might result in the improved thermal stability,showing higher temperature at maximum mass loss rate increased from 364. 5°C to 433°C.

    Without using any solvent, a maleopimaric acid (MPA)modified methoxy terminated poly dimethylsiloxane )(MP-MOS) was firstly synthesized by the one-pot reaction of MPA, dimethyl dimethoxy silicane (DMDMOS), octamethyl cyclotetrasiloxane(D,),and hydrolyzate of 3-aminopropyl( diethoxy )methylsilane (HAPMS). As a result, MPA based im-ide heterocycle (MPABl) was incorporated into the side chain of polysiloxane. MP-MOS was further characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and FT-IR. Without using any heavy metal catalyst, MP-MOS itself could form a coating having mechanical strength by room temperature vulcanization. The results derived from differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA )showed that the curing product from MP-MOS showed excellent high and/ or low temperature resistance.

    The surface of fly ash was modified by the silane coupling agent and the fly ash/epoxy resincompositecoatings were prepared through mixing method. The surface composition and microstructure of modified fly ash were characterized by FT-IR and SEM. The fire-resistant properties of the fire-resistant coatings modified by fly ash were tested. The influence of the content of fly ash on fire-resistant property was discussed, and the extinguishing mechanism of the fire-resistant coating modified by fly ash was also investigated. The results showed that the surface of fly ash was grafted with functional groups derived from silane coupling agent and thus enabled a good compatibilitywith epoxy resin. With the increase of fly ash, the fire-resistant property of the composite coatings increased firstly and then decreased. Specifically,the fire-resistant property was optimized when the content of fly ash was 5wt %.

    A purified bentonite from Wulanlinge mine in Xinjiang was modified with NaNO, and further modified with hexadecyltrime chloride and octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride to forman organobentonite. The influence of reaction condition on properties of the prepared organobentonite was investigated. The reaction condition was optimized as follows: the pH value was 9 the reaction temperature was 60C, and the reaction time was 1. 5 h. Thus, the prepared organobentonite exhibited properties higher than the level of national standards. Moreover, the influence of organobentonite content on properties of the modified emulsion paint was examined The results showed that the viscosity, solvent resistance, wear resistance and impact resistant of emulsion paint were improved by 144%,80%,74%, 120% respectively when the content of octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride organobentonite was 4wt%, and the main properties of the prepared emulsion paint met the national standards.

    A chain-extending UV-curable polyurethane acrylate (PUA) was synthesized with toluene diisocyanate(TDI), polyethylene glycol (PEG), hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA),and chain extender ethylene glycol or 1,3-butanedio. The effects of PEG and chain extender on the cured film properties of the UV-cured PUA coatings were investigated. With the increase of the PEG molecular weight, the flexibility of the cured film was changed from 4.9 mm to 2 mm, and the hardness was decreased from H to 6B. The chain-extension reaction can be easily controlled between 25-30 ℃. Compared with non chain-extending UV-PUA, the dust-free time of the chain-extending UV-PUA was increased, the adhesive force was improved, and the flexibility was smaller than 1 mm. The water resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, heat resistance, wearing resistance and solvent resistance of the cured film were improved.

    A glycidyl methacrylate-methyl methacrylate-n-butyl acrylate (GMA-MMA-BA) terpolymer was successfully synthesized via precipitation polymerization at the presence of ethanol and deionized water as media. The obtained terpolymer was separated from the said media as its temperature decreased which was investigated by digital photos. Diameter distributions and morphology of the terpolymer particles were investigated by the scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The structure of the terpolymer was characterized by FT-IR and H-NMR. Number-average molecular weight and polydispersity of the resulted resins were determined by gel permeation chromatography The experimental results showed that the conversion of the comonomers was much high. The glass transition temperature of the terpolymer was from 55 ℃ to 75 ℃ adjusted effectively by changing the MMA/BA mass ratio. The synthesized terpolymer resin was suitable for powder coatings application.

    The particles occurred during production of polyester for powder coatings were characterized by FT-IR, MS and H-NMR which proved the main ingredient of the particles was terephthalic acid. It was also found that the terephthalic acid had no entire reaction and the impurities derived from raw materials and production environment could be conducive to particle formation. The factors influencing the amount of particles in the polyester were discussed. The result showed that higher alcohol/acid ratio, higher efficient catalyst, higher active monomer and proper reaction temperature could be useful for decreasing the amount of particles in the polyester.

    Three conservation materials including pure acrylic emulsion,silicone-acrylate emulsion and paraloid b-72( thermoplastic acrylic resin) are commonly used in conservation of the wall paintings. In this article, the mechanical properties including tensile modulus,tensile strength and elongation at break of the films derived from the said materials are analyzed.Meanwhile, the water vapor permeability of the films and the treated and untreated samples are characterized via a specially designed testing cup. The results indicate that the films are fragile and weak in strength. The SEM shows that the water vapor permeability of the three films is similar. Finally the effect of the morphologic structure of the treated samples on water vapor permeability is analyzed.

    In order to boost the development of coatings for steel structure of wind power generator in offshore area in China, some samples coated with coatings produced by intema-tional leading companies have been evaluated. Specifically various simulated corrosion environ-ment and field experimentin Sanya offshore are carried out to investigate film properties inclu-ding corrosion, cracking, blistering, adhesion, abrasion resistance and corrosion spreading rate,etc., by which the durability of coatings has been characterized. The results show that the anticorrosive property of the coated samples in splash zone should be improved further. The field experiment in Sanya splash zone indicates that most of coated samples exhibit low anticor-rosive property and even have serious corrosion after tested for 6 months.

    This paper briefly introduces the basic influential factors on adhesion of topcoat on surface of theprecoated color sheet Based on the results of the matching test of conventional coatings and the precoated color sheet having different aging time, and the results of the intercoat adhesion test, several types of coatings have been selected for the color sheet upon different request, which show good adhesion to the precoated color sheet, enabling them to be applied successfully in refinishing and repairing process for the precoated color sheet.

    The viscosity stability and enzymatic hydrolysis property of both the antienzyme and non-antienzyme type hydroxyethyl cellulase( HEC) products in three different solution(e.g. aqueous solution, aqueous solution with antiseptic and aqueous solution with cellulase) were investigated. The results showed that no addition of antiseptic agent could enable the antienzyme type HEC solution to keep a stable viscosity for a long time, whereas, the non-antienzyme type HEC solution gave a noticeable shortened time for viscosity stability.The addition of antiseptic agent enabled the antienzyme and non-antienzyme type HEC solution to exhibit good viscosity stability. With the addition of cellulase, the viscosity of the antienzyme type HEC solution decreased, and the viscosity of the non-antienzyme type HEC solution decreased much more with the reducing sugar occurred simultaneously. The test method developed in this study not only could be used in HEC production and application, but also could provide reference to develop the industrial or national standard.

    As a high efficiency device, heat pump can reduce the energy consumption and the emissions of CO2 and can make full use of the energy in the air and discharged energy from the painting shop to achieve the energy conservation and emission reduction. Based on the practical application of DongFeng passenger vehicle company, this paper mainly introduces the mechanism and high energy efficiency performance of heat pump system, meanwhile focuses on the development and application of heat pump technology in painting shop resulting in good economic effect.

    Combine technology test to analyze the protective coating problems such as spraying dead angle, wrinkling coating and low adhesion in the conventional aluminum panels machining process of some high precision antenna. In connection with the problems above,process optimization has been carried on through experiments and production verification has also been conducted. The results show that the new process changes the sequence of panels bonding and painting, which solves all of the protective coating problems well and improves.

    All the facilities of offshore oil production industry are connected by pipelines in offshore oil and gas development project. Pipelines enable the separated segments a whole cordinating organic system. The safety of subsea pipeline is crucial to the whole offshore oil industry. The corrosion of subsea pipeline is unavoidable and the most difficult job is the corrosion protect of the field joint thereof. The anticorrosive coatings commonly used and several new types of coatings are introduced in this paper. The advantages, disadvantages and difficulty of coating process are discussed Meanwhile, the opinion on the development of coating processfor corrosion protection of subsea pipeline was given.

    A finger paint could be used as a children's toy, This paper introduced its concept and the related limitation of special ingredients in the process of its production, application and test. Meanwhile, this paper introduced the current situation of the related standards conducted by other countries. Based on the limits of the harmful substances in the most comprehensive standard EN 71-7: 2014, this paper analyzed in particularthe distinction of several standards enacted by different countries, and also pointed out the problems of finger paint in China,which could provide a reference to improveme of the standards related to finger paint in China.
