摘要: 分析了低成本聚酯粉末涂料容易出现缩孔的原因,认为低成本树脂相对较高的表面张力和存在的结晶可能是导致涂膜表面性能不好的主要原因。在此基础上,参考具有一定抗缩孔功能的润湿助剂(701助剂)的基本结构,提出引入适量的活性官能团可能有助于表面性能的提高。通过溶液聚合法制备了系列不同酸值的甲基丙烯酸甲酯/丙烯酸丁酯/甲基丙烯酸(丙烯酸)[MMA/BA/MAA(AA)]三元共聚物,并进行了结构与性能表征。把经过筛选和优化的共聚物应用到粉末涂料中可以显著改善缩孔现象,满足实用要求。提出了共聚物中的不同组分在涂料中的协同作用机理。

Abstract: The cause of the powder coatings crater appearance is studied. It is found that the main cause may be the higher surface tension and the crystallization of the polyester. In this article, the introduction of some active functional groups to the basic structure of one conventional wetting agent (701 agent) may have good effect on the modification of the powder coatings' appearance. A series of acrylic copolymers having different acid values are polymerized by using methyl methacrylate/butyl acrylate/methyl acrylic acid( acrylic acid )[ MMA/ BA/MAA(AA)] as the reactive monomers in toluene solution. The structure of the copolymer is characterized. When the optimized copolymers are added to the powder coatings, it is found that they can improve the crater problem effectively. And the improved powder coatings canmeet the practical requirements. The synergistic mechanism of the copolymers in the powder coatings is also provided.
