Hydrophilicity and Hydrophilic Mechanism of TiO2/SiO2 Composite Coatings

摘要:  以钛酸四丁酯、正硅酸乙酯为前驱体,冰醋酸为水解抑制剂,用溶胶-凝胶法制备了纳米TiO2/SiO2复合粒子。将复合粒子添加到醇酸清漆中,制备出自清洁涂层。研究表明:少量SiO2掺杂在一定程度上抑制了TiO2的晶型转变和晶粒长大,改善了复合涂层的亲水性。利用荧光光谱对亲水性机理进行了验证。

Abstract: Nano TiO2/SiO2 was prepared by sol-gel process using tetraethylorthosilicate and tetrabutylorthotitanate as precursors and glacial acetic acid as the depressor. The self-clean coatings were prepared by adding the compound particles into the alkyd resin with a certain proportion. Experimental results indicated that small amount of SiO2 can inhibit crystal transformation and growth of the TiO2, then improve the photo induced hydrophilicity of the compound coatings. The hydrophilic mechanism was verified by fluorescence spectra.
