Effect of Zinc Oxide on Properties of Chlorinated Rubber Based Antifouling Coatings

Abstract: Several samples of chlorinated rubber based antifouling coatings with different content of zinc oxide have been prepared. The effect of zinc oxide on the properties of chlorinated rubber based antifouling coatings has been systematically analyzedby investigation of the stability, the mechanical properties and the antifouling performance of chlorinated rubber based antifouling coatings. It has been shown that zinc oxide can effectively inhibit crosslink reaction aroused by copper ions, and ensure the stability of chlorinated rubber based antifouling coatings when its content is in the range of 7%~9%.

摘要: 研制了添加不同含量氧化锌的氯化橡胶防污涂料。通过考察防污涂料的稳定性、机械性能和防污性能,综合分析了氧化锌对氯化橡胶防污涂料性能的影响。研究结果表明:氧化锌的添加量在7%~9%范围内能有效地抑制由铜离子引发的交联反应,能够保证氯化橡胶防污涂料的稳定性。
