Synthesis of Epoxy Modified Polyurethane-acrylate Hybird Emulsion Resin for Anti-corrosion Coatings

防腐涂料用环氧改性聚氨酯 -丙烯酸酯乳液的合成

Abstract: A polyurethane-acrylate hybrid emulsion modified by homemade epoxy polyol used for metal anti-corrosion was prepared by toluene diisocyanate (TDI), polyether diol(GE220), dimethylol propionic acid( DMPA)and methyl methacrylate(MMA) as the main materials. The properties of the hybrid emulsion and films such as hardness, water resistance especially the resistance to neutral salt -spray were significantly influenced by the amount of DMPA, homemade epoxy polyol and MMA. The optimum performance was obtained with the content of DMPA. homemade epoxy polyol and MMA al 7%-7.5%, 12% and 25%-35% respectively.

摘要: 以环氧树脂开环制备的环氧树脂多元醇为改性剂,与甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI)、聚醚二元醇(GE220)、二羟甲基丙酸(DMPA)和甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)等原料合成环氧树脂改性聚氨酯 -丙烯酸酯(PUEA)复合乳液,并应用于金属表面防腐。研究发现:环氧树脂多元醇、DMPA和 MMA的用量等因素对乳液及涂膜性能的影响显著。当 DMPA、环氧树脂多元醇和 MMA的质量分数分别为 7% ~7.5%、12%和 25% ~35%时,涂膜的耐水性、硬度和耐盐雾性最佳。
