Influence ofM oO3 on Residual CharMass of Flame Retardant Intum escent Coatings

MoO3对膨胀型防火涂料残炭的影响

Abstract: In order to study the stability of intumescent char layer, the in fluence of MoO3 on the percen-tage of residual char of a flame retardantintum escent coatingswas investigated by thermal gravity analysis(TGA).The experimental results showed that the add ition of  MoO3 ther investigated. TGA studies showed that MoO3 could improve the residual charmass of binder,ammonium po lyphosphate (APP), pentaery thritol ( PER) and APP /PER respectively. It is found that a new exothermic peak appears at about 665℃ on DSC curves of 9%  MoO3 , which seems that some new substances were formed possibly. XRD analysis showed that the intumescent char layer were made of MoO2, MoOPO4 and a little  MoO3 , which was agreed with  MoOresult of DSC analysis.

摘要: 为了研究膨胀型防火涂料的炭层稳定性, 本文采用热重分析 ( TGA) 研究了MoO3对膨胀型防火涂料残炭率的影响。试验结果表明, 掺入 MoO3能降低涂料的分解速度, 增加残炭量; 并且随 MoO3掺量的增加, 残炭量增加。在此基础上, 研究了 MoO3对该涂料各组分残炭量的影响, TGA 分析表明, M oO3能提高树脂基体、聚磷酸铵、季戊四醇和聚磷酸铵 /季戊四醇的残炭量。此外, 对掺入 9% MoO3的涂料试样进行差示扫描量热法 ( DSC) 测试, 发现在 665℃出现了新的放热峰, 推断可能有新物质生成; 对该试样灼烧后, 以 X- 衍射 ( XRD) 测试, 结果发现该试样的热分解产物中含有 MoO2、MoOPO4和少量的MoO3等物质, 这与 DSC 的测试结果吻合。
