叠氮蒙脱土改性水性聚氨酯性能的研究

摘要: 用叠氮偶联剂改性蒙脱土(MMT),并将制备得到的叠氮蒙脱土与水性聚氨酯物理混拼得到水性聚氨酯/蒙脱土复合材料,研究了材料的热释放速率(HRR)、总热释放速率(THR)和生烟速率(SPR)等阻燃性能。结果表明:该复合材料的热释放速率、总热释放速率和生烟速率都明显下降,说明叠氮蒙脱土的加入提高了水性聚氨酯的阻燃性能,当叠氮蒙脱土的添加量为1%时,水性聚氨酯的阻燃效果最明显。同时加入叠氮蒙脱土后聚氨酯的硬度、拉伸强度及耐水性也有一定程度的提高。

Abstract: Azide-functionalized montmorillonite (MMT) was prepared in this study by modification of montmorionite with azide coupling agent, which was then blended with waterborne polyurethane WPU) to formulate the WPU/MMT. The flame retardant property such as the heat release rate (hr total heat release rate THR) and smoke production rate (SPR) of the modified material were investigated. The results showed that the heat release rate(HRR), total heat release (THR) and smoke production rate (SPR) decreased significantly, indicating that MMT could improve the flame-retardant properties of waterborne poly-urethane. When the MMT was added 1%,the flame-retardant ability of waterbased polyurethane was the most remarkable. The hardness, tensile strength and water resistance of modified WPUwere also improved to some degree.
