Abstract:
The tetramethoxymethyl glycoluril and propylene glycol monomethyl ether(PGME )were reacted at the presence of cation exchange resin catalyst under vacuum distillation to form the 1, 3, 4, 6-tetrakis-(1'-methyl-2'-methoxy ) ethoxymethyl glycoluril. The structure of the product was characterized by IR and MS. Furthermore, the influence of cationic resin catalyst, reaction time and temperature on the reaction was studied, and the effect of synthetic product on the film performance of the powder coatings was investigated. The results indicated that the best cation exchange resin catalvst was Amberlvst 15. and the reaction yield could reach 99. 8%. Compared with tetramethoxymethyl glycoluril, the synthetic
product allowed powder coatings to exhibit better curing performance and weather resistance.

摘要: 通过阳离子交换树脂催化,四甲氧甲基甘脲和丙二醇甲醚(PGME)在减压蒸馏条件下反应生成 1,3,4,6-四(1′-甲基-2′-甲氧基)乙氧甲基甘脲(TMMEG),并用红外光谱、质谱对产物的结构进行表征。 研究了阳离子交换树脂催化剂、时间和温度对反应的影响,及合成产物对涂膜性能的影响。 结果表明,反应收率为 99.8%,Amberlyst 15 阳离子交换树脂催化效果最佳,与四甲氧甲基甘脲相比,合成产物使粉末涂料具有更好的固化性能和耐候性。
