Abstract:
In this paper, Fire-proofing coating system technalogy used for CRH 380 E-MUs has been introduced. Taking the AKzo fire-proofing coating and Sika fire-proofing coating as examples, the characteristic of raw materials, manufacturing technology, fire-prooting performance and economic costs were analyzed. Fire - proofing system for CRH 380 EMU was optimized. The feasibility of replacement of fire -resistant blankets by fire-proofing coating in manufacturing process of EMU was discussed.
