Effects of Defoamer on Mechanical and Anti-corrosion Properties of Epoxy Coatings

消泡剂对环氧树脂涂料机械性能和防腐性能的影响

Abstract: Five kinds of defoamers were investigated to compare their effects on mechanical properties and anti-corrosion of epoxy coatings. The results indicated that Airex 900 defoamer (hydroxyl polydimethylsiloxane ) had the best effect on defoaming at the content of 0. 8%. And there was no influence on hardness and adhesion. but improving impact resistamce. In addition, electrochemical impedance spectrum (EIS) showed that Airex 900 defoamer could improve anti-corrosion ability of coating evidently, logarithm of impedance was 3 magnitude higher than the blank test.

摘要: 比较了不同消泡剂对环氧树脂涂料机械性能和防腐性能的影响,结果表明:Airex  900羟基聚二甲基硅氧烷消泡剂在含量为 0.8%时消泡效果最好,对涂料的硬度和附着力无影响,可提高涂料的耐冲击性能。此外,交流阻抗谱表明,该消泡剂比其他消泡剂更加明显地提高了涂料的耐介质腐蚀能力,阻抗值比没加消泡剂的涂料的阻抗值提高近 3个数量级。
