Abstract:
In order to meet the hardness requirements of the film on the polyethylene terephthalate(PET) substrate and avoid adding amine neutralizing agents,a modified sulfonated waterborne polyurethane(SWPU)emulsion,which could be cured by UV light/heat due to the introduced double bonds and epoxy groups,was synthesized from diisocyanate,sulfonate polyols and so on. The structure of SWPU emulsion was characterized by infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR). The effects of R values(molar ratio of isocyanate groups to hydroxyl groups) and sulfonate polyols dosage on the particle size of SWPU emulsions,mechanical properties,water contact angle,water absorption,thermal stability and other properties of coating were investigated. The results showed that with the increase of R value,the particle size of emulsion and the hardness of the coating gradually increased. When R value was 1. 6, the coating exhibited high hardness and the performance of emulsion was relatively stable. Inaddition,the particle size of the emulsion gradually decreased with the increase of sulfonatepolyols dosage. When the sulfonate polyols dosage was 6%,the hardness of coating reached 3H,the flexibility was 1 mm,the adhesion was grade 0,the water contact angle of coating was 68. 2°,and the water absorption was 8. 85%. Meanwhile,the film also indicated goodmechanical properties and thermal stability. The modified sulfonated waterborne polyurethanecoatings could meet the requirements of the target application.

摘要: 为满足聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)基材上涂层的硬度要求以及避免添加胺类中和剂,以二异氰酸酯、磺酸盐多元醇等为原料,合成过程中引入双键和环氧基团,制备了可 UV/热双重固化的改性磺酸型水性聚氨酯(SWPU)乳液。通过红外光谱仪(FT-IR)进行了结构表征,并探究了 R值(异氰酸酯基与羟基的物质的量比)和磺酸盐多元醇用量对 SWPU分散体粒径,胶膜的力学性能、水接触角、吸水率和热稳定性以及涂层性能的影响。结果表明:随着 R值的增加,分散体粒径逐渐增大,涂层硬度提升,当 R值为 1. 6时,涂层硬度高且分散体性能相对稳定。而随着磺酸盐基团含量上升,分散体粒径逐渐下降,当磺酸盐多元醇含量为 6%时,固化后涂层硬度达到 3H,柔韧性 1 mm,附着力 0级,涂层水接触角为 68. 2°,吸水率为 8. 85%,同时胶膜也具备良好的力学性能及热稳定性。所制备的改性磺酸型水性聚氨酯涂料能够满足目标应用需求。
