    The copper leaching rate of cold spray Cu-Cu2O antifouling coatings in seawater having different dissolved oxygen and salinity was studied. The experimental results showed that total copper leaching rate was composed of two parts (i.e. electrochemical dissolution of copper and chemical dissolution of cuprous oxide). The increase in dissolved oxygen promoted the electrochemical dissolution of copper and the increase of total copper leaching rate,while inhibited the dissolution of cuprous oxide wherein the inhibition did not outdo the promotion effect on electrochemical dissolution of copper. The increase in salinity raised electrochemical dissolution of copper and dissolution of cuprous oxide, resulting in araise of total copper leaching rate. As the immersion time increased due to the accumulation of insoluble products,the total copper leaching rate decreased. The leaching rate contribution ratio of cuprous oxide raised with the increase of its content as well as salinity and immersion time, and with the decrease of dissolved oxygen.

    Vinyl versatate and acrylate monomer are copolymerized to give vinyl versatateacrylate copolymer emulsion ( Veocryl with fine particle size by using surfactant stabilizing technology. The influence of monomer composition functional monomers and curing conditions, etc. on water-whitening resistance is described. The (o\ conclusions can be drawn: the Veocryl system provides a better water-whitening resistance as compared to pure a-crylic. The best water-whitening resistance can be reached when silicone and cross-linker contents are respectively 1% and 1. 5% based on total monomers. The water-whitening resistance is improved with higher amount of hydrophobic monomers, longer curing time or higher curing temperature.

    A series of bio-based acrylic resins (AGC)were synthesized from renewable glycerol, cashew phenol ether (CGE) anhydride and acrylic acid(AA), which were used to prepare a series of UV curable coatings. The properties of cured film on Al sheet were also studied in this paper. The molecular structure of AGC was characterized by FT-IR. The molecular weight(Mn)and molecular weight distribution index (PDI) of AGC were characterized by GPC.The glass transition temperature (Tg) and the thermal decomposition temperature(Td10)of cured film were investigated by DSC and TGA respectively. The results showed that the UV curable coatings gave a good balance between excellent performance and high content of bio-based substance, enabling a wide range of development and application.

    An organic-inorganic hybrid epoxy resin was synthesized from TEOS and MTMS as precursors and GPTMS as coupling agent via sol-gel process. The effects of monomer and water dosage on properties of coatings were studied. The results indicated that a molar ratio of water to monomer 4: 1 could allow the hybrid coating to show good properties such as adhesion grade 1, hardness 4H and salt fog resistance 360 h. The EIS test showed that the coating had excellent corrosion resistance, the impedance of hybrid coatings was up to 105 Ω·cm2 ,which was approx. two orders of magnitude higher than that of bare Al alloy plate. The TG-DSC test indicated that the coating had excellent thermal stability. The structure and composition of hybrid coating were analyzed by FT-IR and NMR.Meanwhile, the reaction mechanism of solgel organic-inorganic hybrid coating was also investigated.

    A novel anti-pollution flashover fluorocarbon coating was prepared by using fluorocarbon resin as binder and nano-SiO2 micro-PTFE, nano-rutile-TiO2 as filler in addition to titanate coupling agent and other functional additives, with the purpose of solving the problems of short service life and recoatability of the existing anti-pollution flashover coatings.The physicochemical and electrical properties test, outdoor exposure test and the charged operationtest of anti-pollution flashover fluorocarbon coating were proceeded according to relevant national standard and power industry standard. The experimental results showed that the properties including weatherability, chemical resistance, adhesion and hardness of the novelanti-pollution flashover fluorocarbon coating were qualified to national standards. The water contact angle of the superhydrophobic coating was more than 120°. The electrical properties(e. g. volume resistivity, breakdown strength tracking and erosion resisting capability,relative dielectric constant and dielectric strength, etc. )met the antifouling requirements.The charged operation test showed that the insulator coated with anti-pollution flashover fluorocarbon coating gave a controlled filthy severity of E1 and caused no brush discharge during operation. The experimental results show that the novel anti-pollution flashover fluorocarboncoating has excellent performance and can be applied to high voltage insulator.

    A lead-free low-melting glass frit based on Bi2O3-SiO2-B2O3-ZnO was prepared by melt-quenching method, which was mixed with silver powder and organic vehiclevia a given formulation and prepration process to form a lead-free conductive silver paste.The silver paste was printed on glass substrate by the way of silk screen printing and then sintered under a given temperature. The effect of the composition change on the softening temperature and crystallization temperature of lead-free low-melting glass frit was studied by XRD,DTA and SEM. The influence of sintering temperature and its holding time on the conductive properties and adhesion of Ag film was investigated by differential thermal analysis (i. e. TG and DTA), SEM, four probe method and welding method, etc. The results showed that the opti-mal mole ratio of Bi 3+ /Si 4+ /B 3+ /Zn 2+ for lead-free glass frit was 40: 20: 30: 10, and the preferable sintering technology for silver paste was recommended that the sintering temperature was 700°C and thesintering holding time was 15 min.

    An aqueous conductive nanocomposite coating was prepared via blending water Soluble cationic etherified starch as matrixand conductive carbon blackas filler in an aqueous medium. The microstructure of the coating was observed by SEM, and the thermostability was investigated by TG. Furthermore, the influence of several factors including emulsifying time,content of starch, filler and NaOH on viscosity and conductivity of the coating was also characterized. The results showed that less emulsifying time, more starch and less NaOH resulted in higher viscosity of the conductive coating Excellent conductivity was obtained by this method.Conductive carbon black was uniformly dispersed in the cationic etherified starch matrix,and surface square resistance decreased with the increase of conductive carbon black content. Thermostability met the requirements of powder coating for wood, of which the surface was smooth after curing.

    The design and development of pervious solvent-free polyurethane floor coating were discussed according to pervious substrate and its property, development and performance of pervious floor coating, and different design structures under different project conditions.As polyurethane resin reacts, its viscosity, temperature and modules were tested continuously.And their effects on operation were analyzed And the effects of polyurethane dosage and stone chip size on permeability of floor coating were evaluated. Physical properties including permeability, freezing resistance, and strength and so on were also tested. The results showed that the pervious floor coating had high permeability applicable to rainstorm environment, and good freezing resistance applicable to cold region.

    The fire-proofing performance of waterborne intumescent fire retardant coatings was improved with addition of sericite and sepiolite. The influence of sericite and sepiolite on the properties of waterborne intumescent fire retardant coatings was also studied. Waterborne silicone-acrylic intumescent fire retardant coatings were prepared wherein pentaerythritol and melamine were partially replaced by sericite. The results showed that the adhesion of carbonized layer and fire-proofing performance of waterborne intumescent fire retardant coatings were improved by adding the appropriate amount of sericite and sepiolite. Especially a type of waterborne silicone-acrylic intumescent fire retardant coatings comprising sericite 10%o, pentaerythritol 5% and melamine 10% showed optimal fire-proofing property exceeding 3 600 s, furthermore, the carbonized layer was dense and firm to substrates.

    An analytical method of solid phase micro extraction(HS-SPME)combined with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry-olfac (GC-MS-O)has been established to detect the odor of waterborne coatings. Comparison experiments are made to confirm the odor source, which further verify the accuracy of the said method. This method can also provide a new way for VOC analysis of coatings and additives.

    Solvent-based coatings are prepared by using titanium dioxide coated with different organic surface treatment agent. Two methods including high-speed dispersion and vibratingmix are used to investigate dispersibili, dispersion stability and covering power of titanium dioxide in acrylic coatings. The results show that different organic surface treatment agent has an obvious effect on properties of titanium dioxide in acrylic resin system, and specifically the rutile titanium dioxide R2 coated with organic surface treatment agent has preferable properties, allowing acrylic coatings to give similar performance as compared to foreign product of its kind.

    A polyester resin master-batch for changing the curing speed of powder coatings has been prepared which can be used in polyester/TGIC powder coatings. The curing curve of polyester/TGIC powder coatings was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),and the film properties thereof was discussed. The result shows that with the adding of polyester resin master-batch, the powder coatings give lowered curing temperature and shortened curing time without sacrificing excellent impact property of the cured film, useful for reduction of energy consumption and cost.

    An optimized process for preparing the waterborne transparent iron oxide red dispersion with self-prepared dispersant (Fa)and wetting agent (Wa)was described.The properties of the prepared dispersion were further investigated. The results showed that the transparent iron oxide red pigment dispersion exhibited good particle size, transparency and storage stability when the process satisfied the following conditions: transparent iron oxide red pigment content was 20%, mass ratio of self-prepared dispersant and wetting agent totransparent iron oxide red pigment was 4. 0% and 1 .0% respectively, and milling time was 45 minutes at milling frequency 45 Hz.

    A sludge removal syslem via multitubular-hydrocyclone is used for the first time domestically in a pretreatment process for auto manufacture. This system is characterized by high efficiency of removing sludge, continuous mode of sludge removal, high-level automation, low space occupancy for equipment, low consumption of filter media and low manpower cost, etc. The successful application of the system provides a better solution to the sludge removal of pretreatment process in a painting workshop.

    Superhydrophobic SiO2 hybrid materials were introduced in terms of their hydrohobic mechanism, preparation and properties. The existing problems of sol-gel process, layer by layer self-assembly method, phase separation method and particle-filNv8 hod used for preparing superhydrophobic SiO, hybrid materials were analyzed, meanwhile the future development of the title materials was also proposed.
