To explore the corrosion behavior of the coated vehicles under the acute environment of high salt fog in southeast coastal areas, the corrosion behavior of organic coating A C on surface of the military vehicle is studied by electrochemical Impedance spectroscopy (EIS)as exposed to the environment of high salt fog. By extracting the low frequeney impedance modulus |Z| 0.1Hz , the phase angle in high frequency region θ 10kHz . and the relative die lectric constant εr to evaluate the corrosion protection of the coating. The result shows that the corrosion process of the coating in the salt fog environment has undergone three stages good state of corrosion protection, decreased corrosion performance and complete failure Through the analysis of three kinds of characteristic parameters, the change process of corrosion protection of the coating in the salt fog environment has been determined, which can be used as a valuable technical conference for the corrosion protection of military vehicles in the southeast coastal areas.
