Preparation and performance study of high-strength single component polyurethane waterproof coatings

Abstract

In order to prepare single component polyurethane waterproof coatings with fast low-temperature curing speed and high strength for building waterproofing,and the prepolymer was synthesized using polyether polyols and isocyanates as the main raw materials.The prepolymer was then mixed with powder fillers,solvents,additives in a certain ratio to prepare single component polyurethane waterproof coatings,infrared spectrum of which was characterized. The results showed that when 330N polyether polyol accounted for 20% of the polyether polyol total amount,the content of —NCO in prepolymer was 5%,sericite powder as powder filler,and composite of WCAT-WS2 and DMDEE as catalyst,the coating had the best comprehensive performance. When the mass fractions of latent curing agent(ALT-402)and polyurethane specific molecular sieve activation powder(JLH-PU) were 1% and 5%,respectively,the coating was fine without bubbles after 120 d. The products met the requirements of Type II single component polyurethane waterproof coating in GB/T 19250— 2013,and showed broad application prospects for its good stability and curing speed.
