Abstract

Be aimed at problems such as long color change time,low production efficiency,difficult cleaning,and massive waste of paint and solvents in the coating process of rare color personalized cars that are not commonly used,a control system for fast color change was designed based on the analysis of the requirements of production process and functions of equipment of automobile paint spray technology. The hardware composition and working principle of the control system for fast color-change was analyzed in detail,the main procedure of PLC(Programmable Logic Controller)main program control in the control system was introduced,and the human-machine interface of the control system was designed. The control system used S7-1500 PLC as the main control unit and HMI(human machine interface)touch screen as the human-computer interaction interface,and the command program was operated to activate the solenoid valve,realizing the rapid color change of the paint. The control system has been put into use. The results showed that the control system could significantly shorten the color changing time and improve production efficiency. About 85. 7% of the recovered paint could be reused,which saved 82. 8% of the cleaning solvent compared with the traditional circulation pipeline system.
