Preparation and Properties of High Silicon Content Waterborne Wood Coatings

高硅含量水性木器涂料的制备与性能

Abstract: In the present study, SiO2/polyacrylate composite emulsion (SiO2/ PA)were prepared by directly mixing polyacrylate emulsion(PA)with modified silica sol. The influence of colloidal silica content on the properties of SiO2/PA composite emulsion(SiO2/ PA) were studied. The results showed that SiO2/ PA composite emulsionwith SiO2-content up to had a good storage stability and an average particle diameter of 170~180 nm. The water and alcohol resistance, pendulum hardness tensile strength of cured film were improved with the increasing amount of colloidal silica. SEM test indicated that SiO2/ PA films displayed a emooth and densed surface. TGA analysis showed that coating films possessed good thermal stability.

摘要: 将改性硅溶胶添加到聚丙烯酸酯乳液中制备高硅含量 SiO2/聚丙烯酸酯复合乳液(SiO2/ PA)。研究了硅溶胶用量对 SiO2/PA乳液及涂膜性能的影响,结果发现 SiO2/PA复合乳液的 SiO2 含量高达 48%,贮存稳定性好,平均粒径为 170~180nm。随着硅溶胶与聚丙烯酸酯乳液配比的增大,涂膜的耐水性、耐醇性、摆杆硬度和拉伸强度都有所提高。扫描电子显微镜(SEM)测试发现高硅含量涂膜表面平整致密,TGA分析表明 SiO2/PA杂合涂膜热稳定性良好。
