Research of Properties of Epoxy Resin/Surface Modified Heavy Calcium Carbonate Composite Coating

改性重质碳酸钙制备环氧涂料及其涂层性能研究

Abstract: Heavy calcium carbonate was surface modified with grafting ol silane coupling agent KH560, which was then formulae with epoxy resin to prepare a composite coating film by thermal curing process. The modified heavy CaCO3 were characterized by infrared spectrum (FT-IR), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and thermogravimetry(TG) and particle size analysis. The properties of epoxy resin/heavy calcium carbonate coatings, such as adhesion, corrosion resistance, were detected by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS), autoclave and other instruments. The results showed that KH560 was chemically bound on the surface of calcium carbonate, and the properties of the coatings were improved in compatibility, corrosion-resistance and thermal stability.

摘要: 利用γ-(2,3-环氧丙氧基)丙基三甲氧基硅烷(KH560)对重质碳酸钙表面进行接枝改性,并以改性后的重钙为填料制备了环氧涂层。采用傅里叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、热重分析仪(TG)和粒径分析对改性重钙进行表征,使用电化学阻抗谱(EIS)、高温高压釜等设备测试涂层的附着力和耐腐蚀性等性能。结果表明:重钙表面化学键合了KH560有机官能团,提高了环氧涂层的相容性、耐腐蚀性和热稳定性。
