The Rapid Preparation of MgO Coating at Low Temperature by Microwave Liquid Process

微波液相法低温快速制备MgO涂层

Abstract: MgO coating layers with different thickness were prepared successfully on the stainless substrate with MgO as raw materials polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as film forming agent, by combination methods of liquid phase process and microwave drying technology, The morphology, strueture and composition of MgO coating layers were characterized by means of SEM, XRD and TG-DTA techniques . The results showed that the MgO particles were dispersed uniformly ( average particle size of 400-500 nm)in the coating layer without any by-products and the PVA added could form a gel matrix network, having not only a certain ability to prevent the film crack to some extent but also could control the size of Mgo particles effectively,preventing agglomeration.

摘要: 采用液相法结合微波干燥技术,以轻质MgO为原料,聚乙烯醇(PVA)为成膜剂制得乳胶液,在不锈钢基板上成功制备出不同厚度的MgO涂层,并对所制得的MgO涂层采用扫描电镜(SEM)、X射线衍射(XRD)和差热及热重(TG-DTA)等分析测试手段进行了表面形貌、结构和组成等的表征。结果表明:利用微波液相法得到的MgO涂层,MgO颗粒分散均匀(平均粒径400~500 nm),无其他副产物产生,加入的PVA能够形成凝胶骨架网,不仅具有一定应变能力,在一定程度上防止了涂层裂纹,而且还能有效地控制MgO粒子尺寸防止团聚现象。
