Application of Attapulgite in Waterborne Acrylic Wood Coatings

凹凸棒土在水性丙烯酸木器涂料中的应用研究

Abstract:

In order to study the application of attapulgite in waterborne acrylic wood coatings, the synergistic effect of attapulgite with thickeners HEOVIS PU 1191, RHEOVIS HS 1152, RHEOVIS HS 1212 and RHEOVIS PE 1331 is studied. The Brookfield viscometer, rotational viscosity meter and fineness meter are used to measure the performance of the coating, which is compared with a single thickener additive coating. The results show that the synergistic effect of attapulgite and clay might increase the anti-settling effect of thickener 1191 by 28.6% and reduce the dosage by 0.5%. The anti-settling effect of thickener 1152 is increased by 65.7% and the dosage is reduced by 0.5%. The anti-settling effect of the thickener 1212 is improved by 10% and the amount of thickener is reduced by more than 0.4%. The anti-settling effect of the thickener 1331 is increased by 57.1% and the dosage is reduced by 0.5%. The synergistic effect of attapulgite and thickener 1191 and 1331 can enable the coating to show better thixotropy. The synergistic effect of attapulgite clay is better than single thickener in terms of improving the storage stability of waterborne acrylic wood coatings.

摘要:

研究了水性丙烯酸木器涂料中凹凸棒土与增稠剂HEOVIS PU 1191、RHEOVIS HS 1152、RHEOVIS HS 1212、RHEOVIS PE 1331的协同效应,并与使用单一增稠助剂的涂料进行性能对比。结果表明:凹凸棒土的协同作用能使增稠剂1191的防沉效果提升28.6%,用量减少0.5%;能使增稠剂1152的防沉效果提升65.7%,用量减少0.5%以上;能使增稠剂1212的防沉效果提升10%,用量减少0.4%以上;能使增稠剂1331的防沉效果提升57.1%,用量减少0.5%。凹凸棒土与增稠剂1191、1331协同作用使涂料具有更好的触变性。凹凸棒土的协同作用较使用单一增稠剂更能提高水性丙烯酸木器涂料的贮存稳定性。
