用于粉末涂料的高性能荧光颜料

摘要:

将荧光染料4-二甲胺基-N-(2-羟基-1-羟甲基乙基)-1,8-萘酰亚胺(DHHNA)作为扩链剂引入聚氨酯链段中,再用丙烯酸羟乙酯封端,与2-羟基-4-丙烯酸酯基二苯甲酮(HAB)共聚制备得到荧光耐紫外丙烯酸改性聚氨酯(PUH)。通过傅里叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)、 1H NMR 核磁共振谱、UV-Vis吸收光谱、荧光发射光谱、凝胶渗透色谱(GPC)、热重分析(TG)等方法分析验证了PUH的结构、荧光性能以及热学性能。结果表明:PUH荧光性能优于DHHNA单体,且热学性能良好,适合作为颜料用于粉末涂料。在应用测试中,将PUH作为荧光颜料用于热固性聚酯粉末涂料的制备,其耐溶剂性、迁移性、耐高温性、耐紫外性均显著优于商品化荧光颜料HK-17。最终经过筛选,DHHNA添加量为2.5%、HAB添加量为4%制得的PUH性能最优。

Abstract:

The fluorescent dye 4-dimethylamino-N-(2-hydroxy-1-hydroxymethylethyl)-1,8-naphthalimide (DHHNA) was introduced as a chain extender into the polyurethane segment, which was terminal blocked with hydroxyl ethyl acrylate, and then was copolymerized with 2-hydroxy-4-acrylate-based benzophenone (HAB) to prepare a series of fluorescent acrylic modified polyurethanes (PUH). The structure, fluorescence and thermal properties of PUH were investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), 1H NMR spectrum, UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence emission spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The results showed that the fluorescence of PUH was better than that of DHHNA. PUH had good thermal properties and could be used as pigments for the powder coatings. In the specific application test, PUH was used as a fluorescent pigment for thermosetting polyester powder coatings, revealing that its solvent resistance, migration resistance, high temperature resistance and UV resistance were significantly better than HK-17. Moreover, PUH had the optimal properties when DHHNA was 2.5wt% and HAB was 4wt%.
