含聚硅氧烷侧链的聚氨酯分散体的合成与表征

摘要: 以含双聚硅氧烷支链的二醇(DDPS)为功能单体,聚四氢呋喃醚二醇(PTMG-2000)为软段,4,4′-二环己基甲烷二异氰酸酯(HMDI)为硬段,2,2-二羟甲基丙酸(DMPA)为亲水单体,采用预聚体法合成了含聚硅氧烷侧链的聚氨酯分散体(SPUD)。 考察了聚硅氧烷侧链长短对 SPUD 乳液性能及其胶膜性能的影响。 红外分析、TEM 证实该方法合成了稳定的聚硅氧烷改性的聚氨酯分散体;XPS 分析证实在成膜过程中,聚硅氧烷侧链向表面伸展,使得表面硅含量远高于理论值;SEM 证实SPUD 胶膜表面和断面呈现多相结构,可见聚氨酯和聚硅氧烷的相分离。 随着聚硅氧烷侧链长度的增加,SPUD 胶膜吸水率和吸醇率下降,接触角增大。

Abstract: A series of siloxane-modified polyurethane dispersion coatings grafted with poly(dimethylsiloxane side chains were successfully prepared by the reaction of diol containing double polydimethylsiloxane side chain(DDPS, polytetramethylene glycol (PTMG-2000),4,4'-dicyclohexyl methane diisocyanate(HMDI), dimethylolpropionic acid (DMPA)and isophorone diamine(IPDA ) The effects of different length of dimethylsiloxane chains of DDPS on properties of SPUD emulsion and film thereof were investigated. FT-IR and TEM demonstrated that stable SPUD emulsions have been formed. The surface element analysis by XPS demonstrated that siloxane segments were stretched to the surface which resulted in silicon content of surface was much higher than the theoretical value. SEM images demonstrated that surface and section of SPUD film showed a multi phase structure, and a mi-cro-phase separation between polyurethanes and polysiloxanes was observed. With the increase of the length of polysiloxane chains, the SPUD film showed a decrease of the water and alcohol absorption, and an increase of the contact angle.
