海泡石纤维/SiO2复合材料的制备、表征及性能

摘要: 采用KH560和KH602硅烷偶联剂对海泡石(SEP)进行有机复合改性,将改性海泡石(OMSEP)加至硅溶胶中制得海泡石纤维/SiO2复合材料,采用SEM、XRD、FT-IR、TG等手段进行表征分析。结果表明:硅烷偶联剂通过接枝反应接在海泡石表面,并且部分偶联剂分子进入海泡石内部孔道,改变了海泡石的晶格结构。TG分析表明,通过硅烷偶联剂改性提高了海泡石的热稳定性。复合材料性能测试表明,有机改性海泡石的加入提高了硅溶胶的成膜性能、附着力及耐擦洗性能。当改性海泡石与硅溶胶质量比为3∶10时,耐擦洗性能最佳。

Abstract: A modification of sepiolite( SEP)fiber was conducted using KH-560 and KH-602 silane coupling agent. Then the modified SEP was added to silica sol to fabricate SEP fiber/SiO2 composites. The modification of SEP was characterized by SEM, XRD, FT-IR,and TG. The results showed that the silane coupling agents were grafted to both the surface and channel of SEP, which changed the crystal structure of SEP. The results indicated that the modified SEP improved the thermal stability of SEP. In addition, it could enhance the film-forming property, adhesion and scrub resistance of the silica sol coatings. The optimal scrub resistance was obtained when the ratio of the modified SEP to silica sol was 3: 10.
