Abstract

[Objective/Significance]Room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber anti-pollutionflashover coating has been widely used in power system as an important external insulation anti-pollution flashover measure because of its excellent hydrophobicity. This paper aims to comprehensivelyunderstand the current state of detection technologies and promote the optimization of testing methodsand standardization.[Analysis/Discussion/Progress]The research progress of the test technology of room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber anti-pollution flashover coatings is systematicallyreviewed. The detection methods of general physical and chemical properties,electrical properties,and mechanical properties are discussed. The key points of the test technology are analyzed in detail,and the problems of the existing detection technology,such as the lack of evaluation methods for weather resistance,the lack of research on microscopic characteristics and the single assessment factors are pointed out,and the corresponding solutions are given.[Conclusion/Prospect]Future development of detection technologies requires establishing a whole-lifecycle weathering resistance evaluation model, strengthening fundamental research on microscopic mechanisms,and developing comprehensive evaluation methods under multi-factor coupling conditions,thereby providing scientific support forcoating technology advancement and reliable power system operation.
