In this paper，the research progress of acrylic latex technology was reviewed through literature review and technical analysis. Its application development in architectural coatings，waterproof coatings，wood coatings，industrial coatings，adhesives，and emerging application fields was introduced. The current problems and challenges faced by acrylic latex were analyzed，and an outlook on its application and future development trends were provided，aiming to provide guidance for the technological development and market application in the field of coatings and adhesives industry. It was suggested that the acrylic latex industry should strengthen technological innovation，especially hybrid technology，to expand product performance. At the same time，deepening market segmentation and exploring new applications could ensure the industry move towards a green，high-performance，and sustainable development future.
