Abstract

Polysilazane is a silicon-based polymer with Si-N bonds as the main chain,containing reactive chemical bonds such as Si-H and N-H. These reactive chemical bonds are conducive to its close bonding with the substrate and can also be used to integrate various functional groups to obtain different properties,making it have great application prospects in hydrophobic coatings. Focusing on the research and application of polysilazane in the field of hydrophobic coatings,in this paper,the modification methods of polysilazane hydrophobic coatings and their application progress in anti-freezing,anti-fouling,anti-corrosion and other fields were reviewed. It was proposed that self-repairing or adding fillers could improve the poor mechanical durability and other problems commonly found in current polysilazanehydrophobic coatings. The application of polysilazane hydrophobic coating in more fields wasprospected,which provided ideas for the further research.
