Abstract

As a novel class of two-dimensional(2D)transition metal materials,MXene shows great application potential in in energy conversion and electrochemical energy storagefor its outstanding electrical conductivity. Meanwhile,it has developed into a research hotspotin the field of functional coatings in recent years due to the advantages it exhibits inmechanical,photoelectrocatalytic and functional modifications. In this paper,the relevant research results in MXene-modified coatings in recent years were systematically summarized,and the research progress of the functional modification methods of MXene,the MXene-modified superhydrophobic,photocatalytic,self-repairing,antistatic and other functional coatings were analyzed,the problems existing in the process of its application were combed through and thetargeted solutions were put forward. At the same time,the future development direction of MXene-modified functional coatings was prospected,with a view to providing technicalguidance for the development of high-performance MXene-modified functional coatings.
