Abstract

A self-healing polyurethane material combining high self-healing efficiency,excellent shape memory effect and high UV absorption was prepared by introducing aromatic disulfide bonds into the main chain of the polyurethane. The results of infrared and nuclear magnetic spectroscopy,dynamic mechanical analysis,mechanical test,shape memory and self-healing test showed that the polyurethane with an R value of 4 possessed excellent self-healing effect. The self-healing efficiency of the fracture elongation of the sample after heating at 120℃ for 15 min was up to 98.8%,and the coating was heated at 120 ℃ for 5 min to repair the scratches completely. At the same time,the polyurethane coatings performed a strong shielding performance for the UVA(320-400 nm),which had strong penetrating power,with a transmittance rate of only 0. 07%.
