Abstract

In order to further investigate the effects of the self-made ionic liquid corrosion inhibitor and graphene oxide on the comprehensive properties of epoxy zinc phosphate anticorrosive coatings,the effects of introducing imidazole bromide ionic liquid corrosion inhibitor,graphene oxide,and their combination system into epoxy zinc phosphateprimers on coating performance were explored. The results demonstrated that incorporatingimidazolium bromide,graphene oxide,and their composite system could enhance the mechanical properties of the coating in different degrees,such as flexibility and tensilestrength. After the addition of the two trace components combination,the corrosion current of the coating decreased,the corrosion resistance was effectively improved and the salt sprayresistance was also raised.
