Abstract

In order to improve the compatibility between fillers and waterborne polyurethane(WPU) and to increase the anticorrosion properties, polydopamine(PDA) modified graphene oxide/polyaniline(FGO/PANI)nanofillers were utilized for the preparationof WPU coating. The nanofiller structures were characterized by Fourier Transform InfraredSpectroscopy(FT-IR)Ultraviolet-Visible Absorption Spectroscopy(UV-vis),Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM),and,Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM),and the mechanical and anticorrosive properties of the coatings were analyzed. The results showed that the filler PDA/FGO/PANI was successfully synthesized and PDA was successfully encapsulated on thesurface of FGO/PANI,and the addition of PDA could effectively improve the compatibilitybetween the nanofiller and the aqueous polyurethane to enhance the mechanical and anticorrosive properties, and the incorporation of PDA would not destroy the anticorrosive mechanism of PANI.
