Abstract

In order to effectively delay or prevent metal corrosion, adding hydrophobictwo-dimensional nanomaterials with barrier effect is one of the strategies to effectively improvethe anticorrosion performance of coatings. In this paper, the peeling method for two-dimensional nanomaterials(boron nitride and mica nanosheets),the modification method with high hydrophobicity and dispersion were mainly introduced. The corrosion resistance of two-dimensional nanomaterials in organic coatings was also discussed in detail. Finally, the future development of boron nitride, mica and other insulating nanosheet-based anticorrosion coatings was prospected, and the challenges in industrial application were also proposed.
