Abstract

To improve the heat dissipation efficiency of the evaporator in refrigeration equipment,water-dispersible functionalized graphene was used as a filler. It was dispersed intothe epoxy resin matrix through the phase transfer method, and a graphene/epoxy thermallyconductive coating was successfully prepared on the stainless steel substrate. Its thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance were studied. The results showed that there were significant differences in the thermal conductivity of coating with different graphene contents. When the amount of graphene added was 9%,the thermal conductivity was as high as 5. 82 W/(m·K),which could achieve rapid heat dissipation and had excellent water resistance andacid resistance. When the amount of graphene added was appropriate,a thermally conductivecoating with excellent corrosion resistance could be obtained. Compared with the uncoated sample, the maximum temperature difference of the heat transfer process of the thermally conductive coating with 9% graphene added could reach 5 ℃ at room temperature and 16 ℃ at -80 ℃. This coating had potential application value in the field of quick-frozen food.
