This article conducted a systematic physicochemical analysis and thermogravimetric analysis of the carton filter paint waste residue. The analysis found that thecarton filter paint waste residue had the characteristics of low moisture content，high calorific value，easy pyrolysis and high weight loss rate. Based on current policies and regulations，a continuous pyrolysis and weight reduction pyrolysis disposal for carton filter paint wasteresidue was proposed，which was implemented on-site in combination with existing processesin the painting workshop. This could achieve source reduction and resource utilization of paintwaste residue，with good economic and environmental benefits.
