Abstract

In order to shorten the curing time of acrylic amino coating,N-isopropylacrylamide(NIPAM)was introduced into the polymer chain via solution polymerization,a temperature-responsive waterborne polyacrylate secondary dispersion was prepared, then the dispersion was cured by amino resin. The results showed that when the temperature was higherthan the lower critical solution temperature(LCST),the hydrophilicity of polymer chainsegment decreased and the hydrophobic groups increased, resulting in the collapse of themicellar structure and the separation from water to achieve rapid water loss. The addition of curing agent amino resin did not affect its LCST. When the mass ratio of waterborne hydroxylpolyacrylate to amino resin MR-4608 was 8∶1,the film was cured at 140 ℃ for 40 min,the gel fraction of the film reached 85. 90%,the pencil hardness was 3H,the adhesion was 0 grade, the water resistance reached 48 h,and the glass transition temperature and thermal decomposition temperature were improved.
