Abstract

“Aluminium—plastic composite panel for curtain wall”(GB/T 17748—2016) was the main testing standard for aluminum—plastic composite panel for curtain wall. This paper mainly studied the test method of coating wear resistance in the standard. It was found that the standard lacks the instrument calibration procedure, which could not guarantee where the abrasion area would be formed after the sand beam flows out of the catheter. It was suggested that the standard should refer to ASTM D968—2015 and YS/T 1186—2017 to supplement the instrument calibration procedure in the next revision process. The determination of the wear end point was based on the instrument calibration. If the instrument calibration was not carried out,the wear end point obtained was easily a crescent area rather than the circular area described in the standard. The standard did not give the number of timesthe sand was used. It was recommended to replace the sand by referring to the 25 times of usein ASTM D968—2015 to ensure the best wear effect of the sand. The standard should not onlygive the specified value of sand particle size, but also give the specified value of sand densityto ensure consistent flow rate. It was also necessary to fix the amount of sand added into thefunnel each time. It was recommended to refer to the foreign standard 2-3 L to ensure theaccuracy of detection. It was very difficult for the test results to meet the wear resistance ≥5 L/μm specified in the standard, and the direct calculation results were greatly affected by instruments and abrasives, and the repeatability and reproducibility were low. Itwas recommended to use sequencing method to determine.
