Abstract

A method using solid-phase extraction(SPE)combined with high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS/MS) was developed for thedetermination of 12 photoinitiators in food contact inks. The samples were dissolved in ethylacetate and polymer matrix was precipitated with acetonitrile. After filtration,the extract liquid was purified with an Hypersep Retain PEP column,separated on a Hypersil GOLD C18column using acetonitrile-0. 1% formic acid solution as mobile phase by gradient elution,and detected accurately by HPLC-MS/MS in ESI+ multi-reaction monitoring mode. The LOQs of 12 photoinitiators were 8. 0~800. 0 μg/kg and recoveries ranged from 83. 3% to 98. 5% with good RSDs in the range of 0. 7%-12. 6%(n=6). 13 types of sales ink samples were tested,and 6 kinds of photoinitiators were detected among 6 samples. The method owned simple operation, rapid analysis and less interference factors,could provide credible analysis for 12 photoinitiators in food contact inks.
