Silicone low surface energy antifouling coatings does not contain biocides,which is green and eco-friendly,but it had the problem of poor static antifouling ability. In this study,multivinyl siloxane monomers were homopolymerized into single-chain cyclized/knotted silicone polymers with different molecular weights by RAFT polymerization,and then antifouling coating were prepared by UV curing. Studies had shown that the visible lighttransmittance of the antifouling coating was more than 95%. The coating was hydrophobic andthe surface energy of the coating was low(21-25 mJ/m
2). Through AFM tests,it was found that a large number of uniform spherical nanoparticles were formed on the surface of the antifoulingcoating SCKP-3 prepared from high molecular weight polymers. Antifouling experimentsunder laboratory conditions demonstrated that the microstructure of the coating surface couldeffectively inhibit the adhesion of
P. sp.,S. sp. and diatoms. This study provided a new idea forthe development of novel silicone low surface energy antifouling coatings.
