Abstract

Phosphate coating has excellent high-temperature resistance, and in order to be applied to protect the high-temperature mechanical equipment, the high-temperatureresistance should be maintained while improving the wear resistance. In this paper, SiC/Al2O3 phosphate coating was prepared by introducing silicon carbide(SiC)and alumina(Al2O3)as functional fillers. The polymerization and solidification process, microstructure, thermal stability, and friction wear performance of the prepared coating were analyzed through scanning electron microscopy, energy spectrometer, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetry, microhardness, and high temperature friction and wear tester. The effects of the pigment binder ratio,SiC and Al2O3 addition ratio, and the particle size, morphology and crystal form of Al2O3 on the friction wear performance of the coating were investigated, and the optimal synthesis condition was obtained. The results showed that the coating had excellenthigh-temperature thermal stability, and the appropriate component proportion of in the fillercould improve the coating hardness and wear resistance. The spherical shape fillers couldreduce the wear rate and improve the wear resistance.
