Abstract

To solve the corrosion problem of offshore wind power metal towers, fluorocarbon heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings were synthesized by using silane coupling agent(KH550)modified basalt scales and fluorocarbon resins as the film forming substance. The performance of the coating was investigated using scanning electron microscope(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), X-ray diffraction(XRD), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),acid and alkaline immersion tests, neutral salt spray tests and atmospheric exposure tests. The results showed that when the adding of modified basalt scales was 6%,the coating had the best comprehensive performance. The adhesion could reach 1 grade, hardness was 1 B,fast curing surface drying time was only about 20 minutes, the average single film thickness could reach more than 100 μm,excellent chemical resistance. Overall, the coating had long-term anti-corrosion and weather resistance.
