The illegally recycled waste cooking oil was used as raw material to synthesizewaterborne alkyd resin,which was then modified with acrylic acid to prepare waterborne alkydresin anticorrosion coatings. The results showed that when the synthesis process conditions wasset as:acid value ranged from 50 to 80 mg / g and the temperature of alcoholysis and acidhydrolysis ranged from 230 to 240 ℃,the properties of coatings could meet the requirements of HG/T 4847—2015 standard,such as the surface drying time less than 8 hours and the thoroughdrying time less than 24 hours. In addition,the anticorrosion coatings provided excellent water resistance and salt water resistance,and contained low volatile organic compound(VOC),which was only 37 g/L,with better environmental friendly and application prospect.
