The Synthesis of anionic PUD and its application in one-component waterborne paint

Abstract

An anionic waterborne PUD has been prepared by the self-prepared intermediate introduced with side group, polycarbonate segment, polyester segment, sulfonate segment and crosslinking segment. The effects of dosage of intermediate and IPDI, dosage of PCDL and PCL, type of monomer with crosslinking group, dosage of trihydroxymethyl propane on the performance of PUD and waterborne 1k paint thereof were investigated. The results showed that the prepared waterborne paint met the requirements of automotive coatings.
