The organic styrene-acrylic emulsion, fly ash, cement and functional additives were used as the raw materials to prepare a kind of fly ash-based concrete anticorrosive coatings. The coatings performance varying with different ratio of fly ash and cement were investigated, including coating flexibility, impact resistance, water absorption, resistance to chloride ion permeability and neutral salt spray resistance. The results showed that the apparent performance of the coating was improved with the increase of the amount of fly ash. Meanwhile, the resistance to chloride ions permeability increased and the water absorption decreased. The coating comprising fly ash 60% had the optimal comprehensive performance, and the neutral salt spray resistance met the standard requirements described in GB/T 1771—2007. The analysis of XRD and SEM showed that the addition of the cement and fly ash could produced more hydrated products which densified the film structure and inhibit the permeation of corrosive substance. The better protection was obtained.
