Preparation and Properties of Bio-based UV-curable Coatings Based on Thiol-ene Click Reaction

摘要: 以丁香酚、甘脲为原料,分别制备二烯丙基丁香酚( 2A-EU)和无酯键四巯基甘脲(TMGU)。通过调控 n(2A-EU)∶n(TMGU)制备了一系列可 UV固化的涂料,并对其耐热性、固化行为和涂层基本性能、热力学性能、力学性能进行研究,探究了不同 n(C=C)∶n(—SH)对涂料性能的影响。结果表明: 2A-EU和 TMGU被成功合成;随着 TMGU用量的增加,固化后交联网络更为致密,玻璃化转变温度从 22 ℃升高至 50 ℃,初始热分解温度( T5%)从 220. 8 ℃升高至 288. 5 ℃,涂层拉伸强度从 0. 67 MPa提高至 15. 79 MPa,对玻璃的附着力从 2级提高至 0级,且涂层具有较好的透明度。

Abstract: Diallyl eugenol(2A-EU)and tetrathioglycoluril(TMGU)were prepared from eugenol and glycoluril,respectively. A series of thiol-ene UV curable coatings was prepared by adjusting n(2A-EU)∶n(TMGU), and their heat resistance,curing behavior,coating properties,thermodynamic properties and mechanical properties were studied. Finally,the effects of n(C=C)∶n(— SH)on the properties of the coatings were investigated. The resultsshowed that with the increase of TMGU dosage,the crosslinking network was denser after curing. The glass transition temperature(Tg)of the coating increased from 22 ℃ to 50 ℃,while the initial thermal decomposition temperature(T5%)increased from 220. 8 ℃ to 288. 5 ℃ and the tensile strength increased from 0. 67 MPa to 15. 79 MPa. The UV-curing coating had good transparency and adhesion to glass.
